During the Second World War, Joni-Pip’s American Father moves her and her family to Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, England. When her life in the wood begins she is amazed to discover that Ethelred-Ted, her favourite toy and all the animals in the wood can speak!
The novel:
This is practically a text-only version of The Life in the Wood with Joni-Pip. It is a Children’s Adventure that appeals to all ages. The story is set in 1942 in England and spans three centuries, where the characters Jump in Time to try and make a Bad Past into a Better Future.
