Hello to you all, I hope you have all been keeping well. I am back after a break and now it’s time to catch up.
Back from Beautiful Bali…
We had a wonderful week in Bali full of relaxing, swimming, massages, good food and drink and not having to do any of the things we have to do at home. My partner took me to Bali for my birthday and we stayed at Peninsula Beach Resort in Tanjung Benoa. We didn’t do any day trips this time around, just decided to chill and soak up the life in Bali where time does not seem to matter – rubberband time I believe they call it. On my birthday night we went to karaoke and it was such great fun – something we try to do every trip we’re there. Everyone sang Happy Birthday and then we sung our little hearts out. Our week over there seemed to go too fast, one minute we were flying in and the next minute we were flying out. Ah, it makes me want to go back tomorrow. We just love going to Bali and I cannot wait until our next trip.
And then a week of gardening…
We came back to a heatwave and decided to dig up our front yard and put in a new garden. Some may say stupid idea but we still had a week’s holiday before going back to work and well, one must do these things when one has time. Unfortunately I seemed to have caught a flu of sorts on the plane on the way home and so not only was I working my butt off and in a heatwave but I also wasn’t feeling the best. I am so happy with all that we accomplished. It’s a big job and we now have one section done with about ten more sections to go but we shall get there.
Then back to work…
Back to work and ‘real’ life. Someone please tell me why I have to work! Once back to work it didn’t take long until I felt I hadn’t had a holiday and was already dreaming about my next one.
Time to catch up…
And now it is time to catch up with a lot of things. I have reviews to do, books to read, questions to answer, new arrivals to make mention of, et cetera, et cetera. It is going to take a little bit of time but after the break I am now looking forward to it.
